NFL Football Betting Preview: New England Patriots @ Baltimore Ravens

Pats vs RavensDate/Time: Sun, September 23 / 08:30:00 PM ET, M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland

Six. That’s the number of times the Ravens have played the Patriots in the regular season. It’s also the number of times the Ravens have lost, much to the chagrin of sportsbettors who had hoped Baltimore would come through.

Baltimore has beaten every other team in the NFL at least once during the regular season—except for the Patriots. On Sunday night, they’ll do everything in their power to change that.

The Sunday night matchup features two teams with pretty much evenly matched offensive lines. New England is ranked 6th and Baltimore sits in 9th. In terms of defense, on the other hand, Baltimore is way back in 27th and New England is ranked 2nd overall.

But thee Ravens have their stadium working in their favor. NFL betting fans might want to consider that Baltimore has won 20 of their last 21 in Baltimore, and they’re 12-0 in their last dozen games played at home.

The Ravens will likely turn to Torrey Smith to emulate his performance during the AFC Championship game last year. Smith caught 3 passes for 82 yards. And he tied the game 16-16 with 3:38 left in the third with a TD.

The Ravens know that Tom Brady is working with an offensive line that seems to have major issues. Last week against he Cardinals, the offense couldn’t seem to block anyone. And that made Tom Brady fairly uncomfortable for most of the game.

Game Odds:
New England Patriots: +2 -105, ML +120
Baltimore Ravens: -2 -115, ML -140
Game Total: 49, o/u -110

Series record: The Patriots hold a 6-0 edge during the regular season. The teams are 1-1 in postseason meetings.

How do you think New England will fare? Bet on it and all other NFL gambling odds at Sports Betting Online. You’ll find the best odds on NFL football matches, plus you’ll get 10% cash back, every week—win or lose.

NFL Week 3 Preview: New York Giants At Carolina Panthers

Panthers vs. GiantsDate/Time: Thu, September 20 / 08:25:00 PM ET, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina

The current NFL champs, the New York Giants, take to the road this Thursday night to face the Carolina Panthers.

How will the New York Giants fare with four of its high-caliber players sidelined for Thursday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers? That’s what sports bettors who love odds on NFL are asking themselves as they look to lay down money on New York or Carolina.

New York is fresh from its first victory of the season vs. the Buccaneers. The Giants rallied from a 14-point deficit in the second half and pulled out a 41-34 home victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday. QB Eli Manning threw for a career-high 510 yards and three touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter.

Unfortunately for the Giants, the team had little time to get healthy as they get ready take to the Carolina Panthers. Giants’ wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is out with a foot injury. And the Giants will also be without running back Ahmad Bradshaw, offensive tackle David Diehl, and wide receiver Dominic Hixon.

That makes Thursday’s Giants not so, well, giant, and online sportsbook players might want to pay attention to the missing players before dropping money on Thursday night’s matchup in Carolina.

The Giants defense will have to pay extra attention and double their effort if they want to win this game.  They’ll have to face Panthers QB Cam Newton, who completed 14 of 20 passes for 253 yards plus a score on Sunday against the Saints.

The Panthers also enter the game with an evenly split record. After falling to Tampa Bay in Week 1, they stomped on the Saints Sunday night, winning 35-27 and making cash for those who took advantage of solid NFL point spreads and odds at the top online sportsbooks.

The entire Panthers lineup is already looking like a playoff team, with players like Charles Godfrey, who had 11 tackles and one INT returned for a score last week. Or linebacker Jon Beason, who had 5 assists, 7 tackles, and 1 pick against the Saints.

Game Odds
New York Giants: -+2.5 -110, ML +120
Carolina Panthers: -2.5 -110, ML -140
Game Total: 49.5 o/u-110

Which team do you think will emerge with a 2-1 record? Bet on it at Sports Betting Online. When you do, you’ll get 10% cash back, whether you win or lose. And the cash back offer isn’t just good for tonight’s game. It’s good for every NFL betting opportunity this season.

Monday Night Football Betting Preview: Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons

Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta FalconsDate/Time: Mon, September 17 / 08:40:00 PM ET, Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia

This Monday night, the Denver Broncos will meet in one of the most anticipated NFL Monday Night Football games in recent memory.  Both teams are coming off of big week one wins on week 1. The Broncos, leaded by their new star quarterback, Peyton Manning, defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-19 in Denver while the Falcons beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-24 at Arrowhead.

Coming off a huge Week 1 performance, Falcons' Matt Ryan will have a tougher task this Monday Night when he faces Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Ryan is expected to pull through with full steam ahead just as bettors and NFL fans expect him to. But despite the pressure on Ryan's shoulders, expectations for Peyton Manning are equally high. After returning from a 20-month absence that included four neck surgeries (never fun), Manning stole the Pittsburgh Steeler’s thunder and silenced those who wondered if his health was 100% last Sunday night in a 31-10 victory that saw him go 19 of 26 for 253 yards and two TDs.

Atlanta is hoping their Week 1 offensive plays remain solid. Matt Ryan and company looked the part in terms of having one of the best offenses in the NFL, easily clobbering the Kansas City Chiefs 40-24.

Tonight’s game should be offensive heavy, with Manning, Eric Decker, Willis McGahee, Julio Jones, Roddy White, Michael Turner, and Ryan on the field.

Needless to say, whichever team takes tonight’s game will become one of the most feared offensive teams in the NFL, making opponents nervous for the remainder of the 2012 NFL betting season.

Expect Manning to throw the ball more in an effort to keep up with Atlanta’s high-caliber, supercharged offense.

In terms of defense, the Broncos are hands-down much better than the Falcons. The Chiefs were missing four starters, and Atlanta definitely took advantage of that, so we don’t think putting up another 40 points is even possible—but this is on line football betting and anyone who has ever dropped money betting on the NFL knows that anything can happen.

Game Odds:
Denver Broncos: +3-105, ML +145
Atlanta Falcons: -3-115, ML -165
Game Total: 51.5, o/u-110

Wanna bet on it? Check the available odds on NFL for tonight’s game at Sports Betting Online and then bet on it. When you do, you’ll earn 10% cash back on tonight’s game—and any other game you bet on. The cash back is paid weekly—win or lose.

Steelers looking to recover from Against Jets

Jets vs. SteelersDate/Time: Sun, September 16 / 04:30:00 PM ET, Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

If you were looking for odds on NFL for Sunday’s matchup between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers using the Jets’ preseason record as your guide, you’d probably stay away from New York entirely. After all, a 0-4 record with less-than-legendary performances all around had left a sour taste in the mouths of Jets fans. But that was preseason. And in Week 1, the Jets proved that they’re ridiculously solid.

While it took until the fourth preseason game to get in the end zone, the Jets made it into the end zone on their first three scores last week, beating the Bills 48-28.

QB Mark Sanchez had a lot do with it. He completed 19 of 27 passes for 266 yards and three TDs. He threw just one interception. Two of the scoring throws he tossed fell into the arms of rookie Stephen Hill—and he was solidly impressive, with five catches for 89 yards. Oh, and he was sick during the game, too.

The Steelers are coming off a loss, but they finished in first place in 2011 in terms of overall defense. And the Jets are 0-2 against them in the postseason.

QB Ben Roethlisberger finished 22-of-40 for 245 yards and two TDs, but he tossed an interception late in the game.

Last week, Pittsburgh actually performed well against Denver, offensively speaking, moving the ball and eating up the time clock when it counted most. But the defense didn’t do to well facing Peyton Manning. Sports bettors can expect to see better defensive performance this week facing Sanchez.

Game Odds:
New York Jets: +5 -110, ML +210
Pittsburgh Steelers: -5-110, ML -250
Game Total: 41.5, o/u-110

To bet on Sunday’s matchup between the Jets and the Steelers, which goes down at 4:25pm ET, check the lines at SportsBettingOnline.ag. You’ll get 10% cash back, no matter who you back. The money is paid out weekly—win or lose.

Friday Night MLB Betting: NY Yankees and Orioles Ready to Renew AL East Rivalry

Yankees vs. OriolesDate/Time: Fri, September 7 / 07:05:00 PM ET, Oriole Park, Baltimore, Maryland

Back on July 18, the New York Yankees were sitting pretty owning a 10-game division lead, things have headed south since because after losing 11 of 16 games they're now going into Friday night's  game at Camden Yards in a first place tie with the Orioles.

Last night's 10-6 Orioles victory was stellar. Mark Reynolds blasted two homers while Matt Wieters hit a three-run shot for three of Baltimore's season-high six home runs. Reynolds has caused havoc against the Yankees with three two-homer games against them in a seven-day span.

Baltimore is leading with leftie Wei-Yin Chen (12-8, 3.79). This is his fourth start against the Yanks this season. Last Saturday he gave up four runs - three earned - in 6 2/3 innings. Derek Jeter, Curtis Granderson and Robinson Cano have all gone deep against Chen, who has held New York to a .208 batting average.

New York is going with right hander Phil Hughes (13-12, 4.18 ERA). Hughes is tied for the AL lead surrendering 32 home runs, two coming in an 8-3 loss to the O's on Sunday. He was on mound for a short five innings, permitting five runs on eight hits, after allowing just three earned runs in his three previous starts. Hughes beat Baltimore on Aug. 1, giving up one run on nine hits in six innings, and is 5-4 with a 5.27 ERA in 16 appearances (13 starts) versus the Orioles.

Game Odds:
New York Yankees:
+1.5-200, ML EV
Baltimore Orioles:
-1.5+170, ML -110
Game Total:
9-110, o/u -110

Orioles Betting Trends

NFL Sunday Betting Preview: Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans

Date/Time: Sun, September 9 / 01:05:00 PM ET, Reliant Stadium, Houston, Texas

Expectations for this year’s Miami Dolphins are insanely low. But that’s what happens when you suffer three straight losing seasons, something that hasn’t occurred since 1966 through 1969.

Lower expectations are never good, but for Ryan Tannehill, it might just take the pressure off. We don’t want to be in Tannehill’s cleats, that’s for sure. The rookie Miami quarterback will have to face off against Houston’s pass rush on Sunday, and given the fact that Matt Schaub is solidly efficient, we’re guessing Tannehill is going to grind himself down, throw after throw after throw.

Sports bettors might want to consider that fact before dropping money on Miami—not to mention the Dolphins’ sub-par week 1 performances.

Out of their last six season openers, the Dolphins have lost five of them. And most people who love to bet on football would peg them as last place finishers in this year’s AFC East.

On the other side of the field, the Texans head into 2012 as the favorite to win the AFC South.

Houston won their last two season openers, and they’ve emerged from their first playoff appearance with confidence. They lost to Baltimore last year in the AFC divisional round, and they’ve set their sites on making even bigger gains this year.

The Dolphins will likely have a difficult time catching Arian Foster. He led the league with an average 141.6 scrimmage yards per game. He also scored a dozen touchdowns last season—and he missed three games, for the record.

Miami does have Reggie Bush going for them. He ran a career-high 1086 yards last season with Miami. But wide receiver Brandon Marshall, a former Miami favorite, was traded to Chicago, and the rest of the receiving corps is anything but impressive.

Game Odds:
Miami Dolphins: +11.5-110, ML +600
Houston Texans: -11.5-110, ML -750
Game Total: 42.5, o/u -110

It’s clear to see why Houston is a huge favorite in the latest odds on NFL, and barring a couple dozen hail maries, Houston should lock up week 1—effortlessly.

Of course, stranger things have happened in this NFL betting season (who would have thought we’d be stuck with replacement refs) so if you want to throw some money down on Miami, go for it. NFL Game Odds are now live at Sports Betting Online, and you’ll get 10% cash back, every week, win or lose—no matter which team you back.

NFL Champion Giants Kick Off Season vs. Cowboys

Giants vs. CowboysDate/time: Wed, September 5th / 08:35:00 PM ET, Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey

The Dallas Cowboys are surely itching to get back at division rivals New York Giants in tonight’s NFL kickoff 2012 game at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Down and Dirty: Everyone remembers how the defending Super Bowl champions, Giants, clinched the NFC East title last year winning 31-14 over Dallas at home in Week 17. They then blazed through the Falcons, brought down the mighty 15-1 Packers in Green Bay and topped the 49ers in overtime for the conference championship.

To rub some salt in the wound, they went on to defeat the Patriots for the second time in five years in the Super Bowl, earning their fourth league championship.

This gives Dallas even more of a reason to win tonight’s season opener, they have something to prove. And, if they’re going to improve last year’s mediocre 8-8 record, clearly they have to hit the ground running.  Check the available Odds on NFL here.

Notwithstanding the NFL referee lockout this year, the Cowboys’ main worry in tonight’s game has to be two time Super Bowl MVP, QB Eli Manning. Because if anything, Eli seems to keep getting better and better in his career; without question, he’s now considered among the league's elite after leading his team to two titles in five seasons. And, a third title could be just around the corner if he continues his stellar performance this year.

For the Cowboys to have a prayer in this game, they’ll need to step things up defensively. Dallas has rebuilt their secondary during the off-season (drafting Morris Claiborne, signing Brandon Carr and Brodney Pool); they’ll now be able to test this unit and hopefully stop Manning from connecting with Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks or Domenik Hixon down the field.

Offensively, Dallas appears to be as ready as they’ll ever be. Dez Bryant, who sat out the last two preseason games with right knee tendonitis, and Miles Austin, who didn't play at all after having hamstring problems last season and in training camp, are both expected to play tonight.

Tight end Jason Witten, who suffered a lacerated spleen in the preseason opener on Aug. 13, practiced on Saturday for the first time since the injury and hopes to be cleared for this match. Regardless, Dallas hired tight end Colin Cochart off waivers from Cincinnati and released third-string quarterback Stephen McGee as a precaution.

The Inside Scoop: There’s no question that New York seems to have to upper hand in this match; with so many offensive weapons in their arsenal, the Cowboys’ defense has a grueling uphill struggle ahead.

Eli Manning will undoubtedly move the ball around, using everything at his disposal to get the win. Even if the Cowboys do contain Cruz and Nicks, he can still go to Martellus Bennett in the middle or exploit the running game with DeMarco Murray and rookie David Wilson.

Both teams will come out a blazing, and both will likely do a good job. The Giants are the favorite to win at the current -4 spread; however it’s the Cowboys who are most likely to cover if you’re considering betting this game.

Game Odds:
Dallas Cowboys: +4-110, ML +165
New York Giants: -4-110, ML -185
Game Total: 45.5, o/u :-110

The In's And Out's Of Online Slot Machines

Online Casino SlotOne armed bandits. Pokies. Slots. Fruit machines. Slot machines. Call them what you want, but one thing never changes—online slot machines are amongst the best casino gambling games available for those who love to experience thousands of thrills every minute. But before you sit down to play real money casino games, you should understand exactly what you’re getting into. Not all online slot machines are created equal. Read on to find out more.

3-reel Slots
These are the fruit slots that made Las Vegas famous back during the Rat Pack era. You know the deal. Hit three matching symbols—fruit or otherwise—and score a huge payday. 3-reel slots are actually harder to come by in local casinos, but on the web? You’ll find tons of them at online casinos.

Multi-line Slots
If you want more ways to win, hit a multi-payline online slot machine. Forget about three reels and one payline. Multi-line slots usually feature five reels and as many as 50 paylines. Ever payline you play usually requires a bet, but you don’t have to play every payline available. You can play as few as one in most multi-payline online slot machines, and as many as the max.

Progressive Jackpot Slots
With Progressive Jackpot online slot machines, you’re playing the slot machine to win by hitting matching symbols. But you’re also playing for a larger prize that could easily fall into six or even seven-figure territory. Progressive Jackpot slot machines are usually linked with other similar online slot machines at the same website. And sometimes, the machines are linked across other online casinos that reside on the same network. That means the jackpot grows faster and higher, right before your eyes.

How to Play Online Slot Machines
Just as there are different categories of online slot machines, you’ll also find a variety of games within each category. Many online slot machines include bonus rounds that are triggered by hitting a specific combination of symbols. But if you’ve never played online slot machine games before, your online casino software will list the rules within the game, so you’ll always know what you’re getting into before you play.

Want to see how much you can win playing online slot machines? Grab a free Sports Betting Online account and we’ll hook you up with 10% cash back—every week—win or lose at the sportsbook’s online casino.

Padres vs. Dodgers: LA’s Race Toward A Wild Card Spot Continues

Padres at DodgersDate/Time: Tue, Sept. 4 / 10:10:00 PM ET, Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, California

It’s go time for the LA Dodgers. After a rocky end of August, the LA Dodgers have entered September with a vengeance, eyeing a Wild Card spot and a somewhat realistic shot of making the playoffs—a huge deal for those who love to bet on baseball and drop money on LA.

The Dodgers are on a 3-game winning streak run, and they’re just half a game back from entering Wild Card territory.

Last night, L.A recorded its second consecutive walk-off win with an 11-inning, 4-3 win over the San Diego Padres thanks to an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th by A.J. Ellis that pushed them over the edge.

With this victory, the Dodgers are 4 1/2 games behind National League West-leading San Francisco and one-half game back of St. Louis in the wild-card race. Los Angeles has won three straight games, while San Diego has dropped three in a row and trails the season series 9-4.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Padres LH Eric Stults (5-2, 2.43 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Clayton Kershaw (12-8, 2.85)

Tonight, the 2nd place NL West team will try to lock up a fourth win against the San Diego Padres, who sit in 4th in the NL West, by sending Clayton Kershaw to the mound.

Kershaw didn’t receive a lot of help from the Dodgers on the offense during his last trip to the mound. He gave up just two runs in six innings against Arizona last Thursday, but the Dodgers failed to pull even one run in. It was the second time in Kershaw’s last three starts that his team had failed to get on the board.

That said, Kershaw is 4-0 with a 2.04 ERA in his last six starts against the San Diego Padres, so major league baseball betting fans might want to keep that record in mind when deciding where to lay down their money at online sports gambling websites.

Eric Stults takes the mound for San Diego. He’s gone 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA in his last five starts since re-entering the rotation in early August.  And at the plate, Stults is equally impressive, with a 7 for 17 record, which includes 3 RBIs in one game against Arizona on August 24th.

MLB lines for tonight’s game, which gets underway at 10:10pm ET at Dodger Stadium, are now live at SportsBettingOnline.ag. While a fourth win for LA is a huge deal in their quest for a playoff spot, a win actually doesn’t matter much for those who bet on baseball—no matter which team you back.

That’s because every bet qualifies for 10% cash back—win or lose. The cash back is paid weekly on all bets, not just baseball. Opening up an account is free—and with the postseason just around the corner, there’s never been a better time.

Horserace Betting Book Review: How To Turn Any Racetrack Into Your Own Money Machine

Horse Race TrackIf you’re like most punters who love to bet on horse racing, you’re willing to change up your betting strategy if it means winning more Trifectas, watching your picks pull through more often, and winning way more money at offtrack betting sites, online racebooks, and more.

Part of betting on horses the smart way involves doing research on every horse in the race, understanding track surfaces, knowing how to read past performances, and figuring out which horserace track odds are worth betting on and which ones are worth staying away from.
